I was able to walk normally since last friday.
I'm taking out the stitches tomorrow. hopefully after that i can regain my full range of motion quickly. currently i am still not able to squat down.
Special thanks to everyonee who cared and faciliated my recovery especially my buddies at my workplace!

WTF man i just went to the result page and i saw this

there is no gunshot time and championchip time!
this means my 25 minutes of late coming is added onto my swim time -_-
i am ranked 76 out of 94 in my age group due to this extra 25 mins. FARK

this is wat the doctor at the medic post wrote to the A&E!

Most hard earned medal.
Due to
1. Cost registration $90
2. Cab to and fro on event day ~$30
3. Cost of seeing doc for stitching up the wound and anti-infection injection $120
4. Farking problem walking around for many days thereafter - priceless

ok since so many ppl wished me good luck for my triathlon, i guess i am oblidged to post about it.
the race was very bad, not the event, but from my personal race point of view.
My preparation for it was very bad and i paid the price for it. I didn't do any carbo loading for it, and in fact i even starved on the day before it.
On saturday i was teaching swimming again, and this time kena tua man. the manager told me it's from 3-6.30 but actually its until 7.30 omg la. i was so hungry until no longer hungry when i reached home at 8.30. not only that, the weather was so freaking hot, and i didn't drink enough to hydrate myself.
so today, i woke up slightly late, left my house at 11.10 hoping to get a cab. (I'm suppose to report at 10.30am! but i thought it's ok to be late.) i wanted to reach at 11.30. What i didn't expect is that the taxi drivers would be so unwilling to pick me up because i was with a bicycle. I called comfort cab at 11.30 and it said the cab would arrive in 10 mins time. in the end it didn't and i managed to flag down a red cab. later my phone rang and i think it's the taxi driver from comfort! i didn't pick up of course!i think i'm black listed already.
I arrived at ecp at 12.15 and i asked the lady if i can carry on with the race. she say i couldn't because the last wave which is also my wave, has already started. I said i am only 15 minutes late leh! later she allowed me to carry on and directed me to put my stuff at the transition area and do my body marking.
after everything was done, i started the swim at around 12.25. 25 minutes late! omg
we were supposed to swim 2 laps of 750m each. by the time i started, most of them were finishing their 1st lap! it was quite a bad swim especially when it was against the current in a choppy water. by the time i started my 2nd lap, i think most ppl were finishing and going on to cycling. during the 2nd lap, my goggles leak and some salt water got into my left eye and i'm wearing contacts! quite a bad experience. I managed to overtake some ppl on the 2nd lap though and finish my swim in 45 minutes.
i walked to the transition area and changed to my cycling gear. in fact most of the bicycles in the transition area was already gone! i quickly started cycling. i wasn't really sure of how many rounds i had to cycle though vaguely remember reading that it was 4 rounds of 10km each. it didn't help when I couldn't get the speedometer and distance calculator to work. In the end i had to ask around from other participants.
as i was about to complete my 1st round, it started pouring! there was a u-turn at the end of the first round. somehow due to the rain, i couldn't slow the bike down cos the brake wasn't responding! i lost control and fell down. it was raining so heavily i couldn't really see my own wound. i picked myself up and carried on cycling. the volunteers and spectators at the side of the road were very encouraging as well, shouting my name and urging me to carry on.
Only after another round later, did i stop to take a look at my wound. omg la i couldn't believe the cut was so god damn deep. but actually it felt ok, so i carried on and finish the bike leg. though i think i did ok but my cycling isn't superb. i didn't make up any ground in the bike leg.
the run segment was 2 rounds of 5km. i thought i caught up with most of them only to find that i am actually 1 round slower than some of them. yeah it makes sense cos 25 mins is roughly the time for 1 round of 5km. The water points were adequate but it wasn't that well spaced apart imo. oh yes, i forget to bring my ipod, my nitro fuel. it was quite embarrasing for me especially on the last round where i was almost running alone! even the volunteers started to pack up and walk back.
after the race i went to the medic station, they wanted to arrange and ambulance to send me to A&E! they were afraid that the cut might have damaged my patella tendon. I refused cos the logistics part quite mahfan la. my bike all those have to take from TAS on other days.
i took a cab home, settled down and later went to my GP to let him see first. luckily he determined there wasn't any damange on my tendon.
now i have 4 stitches and a bandage on my knee
Though i completed the race in a respectable 3hrs and 10 mins, I wonder what would have happened if i did damage my tendon. Had I carried on cycling and running, there would have been serious damage to my knee. sometimes giving up may not be a bad thing.

no power bar or anything this time. nv do carbo loading also.
just brought the bike out for a ride around woodbridge. feels good and that's all for the bike preparation!
if i can keep the bike at 30km/hr average tomorrow, i should be able to complete the bike leg in 1hr 30 mins. then before that if i complete the swim in 40 minutes, and the run after that in 50 minutes, i should finish everything in 3 hrs.
after which then the real race begins - cycling back to hougang.
oh yah 1 problem. not sure if i should wear my contact lense tomorrow.
i think my normal goggles leaks and if i wear my degree goggles, i will have to run and cycle with my specs :/
