power is nothing without control

few months ago, i stumbled across this total immersion method of swimming. So i heard that it can make my front crawl (freestyle) technique much more efficient.

Even though I am a survival gold star swimmer, I am first to admit that my strokes are not efficient at all. and for everything i lack in technique i power my way through.
I remembered in JC1 when i went to lim yuan wei house to swim, 1 auntie commented that i was splashing too much water, and even offered to correct me. Lim yuan wei nv fail to mock me ever since. saying that my technique is so lousy, yet i am teaching swimming. -_-

2 weeks ago, i decided to pursue my this specific interest of making my front crawl more efficient.
I reserved this book online

1 week ago, it was finally available, and a post card was even sent to me, asking me to go collect it from hougang's library.

Currently I am halfway through the book, currently at the drills part. It's a bit confusing to be honest. how can u figure out how what the person is doing in the water in just a few photos. thankfully, i manage to get my hands on the video.
Today after teaching swimming at orientus, I tried it out myself.
one of the main tatic is to make as little splash as possible, and imagining ur body passing through the smallest possible hole.
for a 30+m length, i managed to reduce my stroke from 20 strokes to around 17 just by being conscious of my technique. I've yet to do any of the drills in the video or the book!
